What’s Coming Up At Disney
There are some new additions at Disney that you should keep an eye out for during your next trip! As always, Disney guests have exciting things to look forward to on their getaways.
One of the best perks of being a DVC owner is exclusive access to certain areas around Disney. The highly anticipated grand reopening of the Top of the World Lounge—A Villain’s Lair is set to take place on July 11th. This lounge is located on the top floor of Bay Lake Tower and is open in the evenings, which is why it’s one of the best places to watch Magic Kingdom’s fireworks! The lounge has all-new themed decor and menu offerings that pay homage to some of your favorite Disney Villains. Be aware that only Disney Vacation Club members with access to Membership Extras are eligible to enter the lounge.
Speaking of exciting things reopening, Star Wars Launch Bay will return in its full form on July 17th. Star Wars fans can meet some of their favorite characters while escaping the summer sun for a bit. Guests can meet Chewbacca, BB-8, and Darth Vader, as well as check out movie props and costumes.

Before we discuss the June 2022 average DVC resale price per point, it’s important to know that the contract size has an effect on the price per point. As you will see, sometimes the cost per point in small contracts is more expensive than in larger contracts! DVC Resale Prices Are Always Changing!
As you can see from the chart above, it’s hard to predict what DVC resales will sell for each month. Resale prices at some resorts went up, while some went down. Regardless of the month-to-month prices, you can see that almost every resort’s resale prices have increased from 2021’s average cost per point. June 2022’s average DVC resale price per point was $132.98, while June 2021’s average was $116.04.
The asking price per point for every sale can vary depending on several things. The average resale price per point for June 2022 does signify that resale prices are still rising for DVC. However, this does not mean that all contracts will sell at or above the average.
If you are considering selling your DVC points, the price per point in which you sell can depend on the immediate availability of your points or even how many points you are allotted every year. If you have any pending reservations, this can also affect the selling price per point.
